File Licenses List

Here at Troxell’s Trading Post, you’re going to notice a lot of items have a “Licensed Design” tag attached to them, and most of those will have a logo for a maker inside their album. That’s because, for the most part, almost everything we print or build are using files made by talented file makers, and we pay a licensing fee to be able to sell prints made from their files in our shop. While we do our best to make sure we have them named in the description, as well as include their image in the photo gallery, we also thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and  list everyone here on their own page, as well, That way, if you already have a 3D printer and are looking at our stuff like, “That’s neat, but I can print that myself. Where did they get the files?” you’re able to get those files and get it printed yourself!

Neat, right?

So, as of August 23rd, 2025, here’s the list of makers we’ve licensed files from.

  • Fate’s End
    • I put Fate’s End at the top of the list, because a lot of the prints we put up are used making their files, and I enjoy their stuff so much I actually have a lifetime license to sell their prints. Kimbolt with Fate’s End is the maker of almost all of our dice towers and dice vaults, as well as some of the weird stuff like the Dragon toilet paper holder. You can find their individual files over on My Mini Factory, and you can support them monthly over on their Patreon page.
  • MatMire Makes
    • Do you like all those cute little critter earrings I carry? This is the person to thank for those models! Matt is a character animator who is taking his experience working on films like Zootopia, Hotel Transylvania, and more and putting it into making adorable, expressive models for people to 3D print. You can find his models over on My Mini Factory, and you can support them monthly on their Patreon page.
  • Artificer Industries
    • Xero Reynolds is a voice actor, writer, and maker of extremely cool things. He’s the person behind the cool dice vault and spell counter, or the Daggerheart range tool. You can find his models and support him on Ko-fi, or Patreon.
  • Big Fred’s Customs
    • Maker of the Deadpool/Wolverine Best Friends earrings, and some of the prop and costume kits I’m offering. I’ve backed Big Fred’s Customs for a while, and really enjoy putting together his models. You can find his stuff over on Etsy, and support him monthly on Patreon.
  • Mystery Makers Studio
    • Many of the Fallout props I offer, as well as the armor, comes from this maker. He has an eye for buildability, as well as accuracy, and I’ve yet to be disappointed by any files of his I’ve printed and worked on for my own personal use. His Etsy shop has a lot of great files, and you can support him monthly over on Patreon.
  • Unimatrix Red
    • This gentleman makes fantastic Star Trek and Star Wars prop replicas, with an eye on being able to print the props out of a specific color of filament so they look “close enough” without needing any finishing work. I affectionately refer to these replicas as “cosplay stunt props” because they cost significantly less than a fully finished piece, they hold up to the ten foot rule, and if something happens, you’re not out a lot of time or money. You can support him, and find his files, over on Printables.
  • Layers in Green
    • I just recently started backing this creator. A lot of their items I sell at my occasional in-person shows, and not on the online shop, mainly because they’re smaller pieces and the cost to ship is almost as much as the cost to sell, and I feel like that’s ripping y’all off. I do, however, have some of their TTRPG accessories and they make fantastic fidget clicker files! You can find their stuff over on MyMiniFactory, and support them on Patreon.
  • Other models
    • These are model makers that I sell one or two of their models, but they don’t have a Patreon. Instead, they’ve put their stuff up on Printables or MakerWorld with a commercial license. Of course, they still need attribution, so I’m also including them here, with their name linking to their page!

As I start and stop backing file makers, I’ll update this list! In the meantime, if you like anything I have but you would rather print it yourself, please take advantage of this info! The more backing they get, the more cool stuff we all get!
