The Monday update is out on a Monday? Inconceivable!

Monday Update - September 8th, 2025

Hey there, everyone.

Okay, let's get on track with the "Monday Updates" actually happening on Monday. Thankfully, I'm not scrambling to write this on Monday morning, so go me!

So, what do I have to update?

New Pages

As promised, I've added the *Where to Find Us IRL *page over there on the sidebar (on desktop) or back on the main page (on mobile). With that, I should be good with the extra pages. Do you think I'm forgetting something? Let me know. Commenting is turned on!

New Products

This past week, I was able to get something new up on the site almost every night, but some nights it just didn't happen, and that's okay. So anyway, here's what's been added as of Sunday night.

I'm working on updating all of them, but the tomes now have insert options. You have to request them when you place your order, and they're a Dice Tower, a Bank, and of course the Dice Tray. I was also hoping to have some new stuff up today for Star Trek Day, but I just didn't have the energy to rush something out. So, hopefully by next week's update, I'll have the Prop Replicas page started with some "cosplay stunt props" from 90s Star Trek. If you're wondering what a "cosplay stunt prop" is, I'll explain it in the listings.

Everything Else

Here's a bunch of other shop info, in no particular order of importance.

  • This past week, we were accepted as a vendor at the next Artisans and Authors Fair at the Anderson Public Library in downtown Anderson, Indiana. It's happening on November 22nd, so I'll have a month after VoltCon to get some new stuff printed. I'm already thinking of what I would like to make for a fairly conservative town like Anderson, and I'm going to have to order a lot of rainbow filaments.
  • Once everything that's been printed is listed, there will be a hold on anything new being printed for the shop until some more orders happen. I'm almost out of money that isn't earmarked for taxes or the percentage that goes to the credit card debt, since I've only really had two sales since I jumped off Etsy in July. Not trying to be a defeatist, nor am I trying to guilt trip anyone, it's just a fact. Comic Carnival money comes in once a quarter, and conventions are few and far between, so this is my main "income" for our project of getting that debt paid off.
  • While everything we sell on here is an item we have in hand, I can be persuaded to do some special orders. I have a lot of files I am able to sell (always pay your artists and people who make your files) that I just don't have up because it might take a lot of time to print, or I just look at it and go "eh." However, something I go "eh" to might be something you go "GIMME" to, and I want to help with that. Visit the Troxell's Trading Post Linktree Page for links to the various Google Photo albums that show the files I can print, and reach out if you have questions.
  • Once again, remember, this is just me and my kiddo doing all of this. I have a day job, and the kiddo is a junior in high school. Please be patient with us, and know that we want you to have the best experience working with us that you can. If you order something, please leave a review. If it's good, then we get that serotonin boost. If it's bad? Well, I don't want that, and you don't want that, but if I'm messing something up, I can't fix it if I don't know about it.
  • Did you know, we're not a big print farm? I only have three 3D printers, and one of them doesn't get used much. The main workhorse is my Bambu P1P, which is what prints most of the props, TTRPG accessories, and anything that is single-color or just involves a gradient filament. All of my little multi-color prints, like the earrings, are printed on my Bambu A1 Mini, which has the AMS Lite attached to it. Finally, if I need to print something like a helmet, or some armor, I have the Elegoo Neptune 3, which has a build plate large enough to do most pieces in one piece. Most of the time, that printer is holding Trading Post stock awaiting photography, but I've got it cleaned off and I'm looking to start a larger piece for charity this week.

That should do it for this week. Look for more new products throughout the week, probably in the evenings. In the meantime, take good care of yourselves and each other, and support small businesses, even if it's not this one!
